There are places in the world that make you feel more alive. A quiet coastline where the only sound is the ocean. A mountain town where you can disappear for a few days and remember why you chose one another. A place you have dreamed about visiting together, or somewhere entirely new that becomes yours simply because you experienced it side by side.

Your wedding day does not have to fit inside a tradition that was never designed for you.

Maybe you want to wake up slowly in a beautiful place, drink coffee together before getting dressed, wander through a city you have never seen, exchange vows somewhere breathtaking, and spend the rest of the evening celebrating with the people who matter most. Maybe it is just the two of you. Maybe it's your closest family and friends. However you choose to begin this chapter, your destination becomes part of the story.

As your destination elopement photographer, I am there to document more than the ceremony. I am there for the entire experience - the anticipation, the movement, the quiet, the laughter, the landscape, the people you love, and all of the small moments that would otherwise exist only in your memory.

Because your wedding day is not simply something that happens, it's something you will remember for the rest of your lives.

Let the place become
a part of your story

Your wedding day should feel like an honest reflection of the two of you.

That might mean traveling somewhere you've dreamed about for years, choosing a destination because it holds a meaningful piece of your history, or simply finding a place that feels completely different from your everyday life. There is something beautiful about stepping away from the familiar long enough to experience one another without the distractions of ordinary life.

What do you want to remember about the morning? Where do you want to wander together? What food do you want to share? Who needs to be there? What traditions matter to you, and which ones have never felt like yours? What would make you look back twenty, forty, or sixty years from now and say, that was exactly how it should have been?

Those answers become the foundation for the way I document your day.

Rather than creating a collection of photographs that simply proves you were there, we build a visual record that allows you to return to how it felt to be there.

An intimate beginning to a sacred covenant

There is something profoundly beautiful about choosing an elopement because you want the day to belong to the two of you.

Not to a guest list. Not to expectations. Not to tradition for tradition's sake. Not to a room full of people watching for the next moment.

Just you, the person you have chosen, and God, at the center of it all.

There is an intimacy in that kind of choice.

You have the freedom to slow down. To pray together. To talk without rushing. To hold one another a little longer. To stand somewhere beautiful and remember that before there was a wedding day, there was a relationship being built - two lives being brought together, with God faithfully present through every part of it.

That is what I want to preserve.

Your elopement can be beautiful without being extravagant, intentional without being rigid, and deeply meaningful without being witnessed by everyone you know.

It can be private. It can be sacred. It can be entirely yours.

Why honey works film company

When I travel with. you, I am not arriving as a photographer who happens to be available for a few hours. I arrive as the full production behind your story.

As a documentary elopement filmmaker, I bring together photography, cinematography, sound, lighting, editing, and production into one cohesive experience. Every element has a purpose, from the way we approach a location to the way light falls across the room, the sound of your voices, the pacing of your film, and the photographs that eventually become a part of your home.

When all of those elements are thoughtfully considered, your story becomes something more immersive than a collection of pretty images. It becomes a living record of what it was like to be there.

You hear the sound of your spouse's voice. You hear your own laughter. You remember the wind, the music, the footstep, the way everything sounded before you said I do. You see the movement between one moment and the next.

Documentary storytelling requires both observation and restraint. My role is never to manufacture emotion for the camera. It is to create enough trust and space for something real to happen, and then to recognize it when it does.

That is where the story lives.

What to expect

This is a destination experience designed around you. From our first conversation, we begin creating an experience that feels personal to your relationship rather than borrowed from someone else's wedding day.

I want to understand what brought you to this place, why you chose one another, what you value, and what you want this chapter of your life to feel like. From there, I help you think through the experience itself - locations, activities, movement, timing, meaningful details, and the little pieces that will make your wedding day feel like yours.

a living archive of your marriage

After the destination has become a memory and the suitcases have been put away, your story continues.

The photographs become artwork in your home. Your film becomes something you can watch years from now and hear the voices of the people you love. Your album becomes something your children can hold in their hands and eventually pass to their own children.

This is why I care so much about what happens after your elopement. Something created to become part of your family's visual history. A record of where you went. Who you were. Who stood beside you. How you loved one another. And the beginning of the family story that came next.

your story deserves a place in the world

There is something sacred about being entrusted with someone's story. I approach that responsibility with gratitude, care, and reverence, creating a space for what is honest, imperfect, joyful, and real.

Your marriage will contain ordinary days, difficult seasons, unexpected adventures, and extraordinary moments. I want your photographs and film to reming you of all of it - let me preserve the story as it unfolds.
